The two most recent sessions of the Multidisciplinary Seminar for Dental Postgraduate students of Riyadh Colleges of Dentistry and Pharmacy held last April 5 and April 12 this year proved to be most interesting as they included presentations from two dental experts and faculty who both obtained their bachelors degree from the School of Dentistry of the King Abdul Aziz University (KAU) in Jeddah, KSA.
Dr. Mohammed Mustafa Beyari who is presently the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry at the Umm Al Qura University in Makkah and the CEO of the same University’s Endowment (Research, Innovation and Academic Support Fund) discussed the University’s Dentistry Research Vision and Strategy.
Dr. Khaled Abdullah Balto who has been a faculty member of the KAU School of Dentistry for quite some time now and is presently Chairman of the Ministry of Higher Education Committee to Follow-up Dental Schools in Jeddah, spoke on the “Concept, Protocols and Techniques in Modern Endodontics”.
In the April 5 session moderated by Dr. Ghazi Al Enazi (Pedo R2), Dr. Yasmine Tarek Ahmed (Resto R2) presented her paper titled “Multi-Approach Management of Short Maxilliary Teeth” supervised by Prof. Roula Al Bounni.
In the April 12 session, Dr. Faleh Al Shammari (Endo R2) discussed his paper supervised by Dr. Hassan Selim on “The Procedural Effect on the Human Dental Pulp”. The session was moderated by Dr. Fayhaa Al Qabbani (Pedo R2).
