This year Riyadh Colleges of Dentistry and Pharmacy held its graduation ceremonies for more than 370, the largest number of graduates to date. The rites for more than 150 male dentistry and pharmacy graduates were held last April 19, Sunday and for more than 100 female pharmacy, nursing and dental hygiene graduates last April 21, Tuesday and for 119 dentistry graduates last April 22, Wednesday. The separate programs were all held at the auditorium in the An Namuthajiyah campus along King Fahd Road.
The ceremonies this year were for the fourth batch of graduates in the masteral program in Dentistry and the second batch in the masteral program in pharmacy; the eleventh and twelfth batches in the bachelors program in dentistry; the fourteenth and fifteenth batches in the bachelors program in pharmacy; the fifteenth and sixteenth batches in the bachelors program for dental hygiene and the second and third batches in the bachelors program for nursing.
The College Rector and the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Riyadh Colleges of Dentistry and Pharmacy, Prof. Abdullah R. Al Shammery, the college deans and vice deans and other officials of the College and a number of faculty and parents of the graduates came to attend the ceremonies. Prof. Abdullah R. Al Shammery addressed and congratulated the graduates on their success and commended them for the good work that they had put in while they were students. He urged them to pursue their dreams and put into good use the things they learned and acquired during their stay in Riyadh Colleges. He also encouraged them to continue updating their knowledge and enhancing their capabilities.
