RCsDP Graduation Ceremonies held on May 10 and 11 this year
The graduation ceremonies this year for Riyadh Colleges of Dentistry and Pharmacy were held last May 10 for the male students and May 11 for the females. Total of 482 graduates – 283 females and 199 males – from the postgraduate and undergraduate programs in dentistry and pharmacy and the undergraduate program in nursing joined the commencement exercises this year.
Prince Faisal bin Bandar Al Saud, the current Governor of Riyadh, and member of the House of Saud, graced this year’s commencement exercises as the special guest of honor.
RCsDP Rector, Prof. Abdullah R. Al Shammery, and Dr. Saleh Al Shamrani, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the College of Dentistry, the faculty and the graduates were on hand to welcome and receive the Governor of Riyadh.
The rites this year were held at the King Fahd Cultural Center for the first time. (Previous graduation rites have always been held at the RCsDP Auditorium in the An Namuthajiyah campus along King Fahd Road.)
